About me

I am a philosophy PhD student at the University of British Columbia. My research explores a number of issues connected to cultural evolutionary science: what are the powers and limitations of mathematical models of human societies? Can this research tradition illuminate the historical causes and dynamics of inequality? I teach a course on research methods in cognitive science that lets students develop skills in computational statistics and theoretical modeling.
